Medical Assistant - Windsong PC
About The Position
The Medical Assistant works under the clinical supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. The role assists with preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by providers and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties must be performed skillfully and consistently in accordance with established clinical policies and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 40 standard weekly hours. The position is based at Windsong Primary Care. Employees must maintain their primary residence in Texas and maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout their employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school or hold a current Medical Assistant certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Maintain a primary residence in Texas throughout employment.
- Maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.
Nice To Haves
- Family medicine or pediatric experience.
- National certification.
