About The Position

The Medical Assistant works under the clinical supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. The role assists with preparing and delivering patient care as directed by providers and other licensed clinical personnel, and performs clinical duties consistently and skillfully in accordance with established clinical policies and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school or hold a current medical assistant certification.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Maintain a primary residence in Texas throughout employment.
• Maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• National certification preferred.
