About The Position

The Medical Assistant works in the Windsong Primary Care practice under the clinical supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider. The role assists in preparing for and delivering patient care as directed by providers and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties must be performed skillfully and consistently in accordance with established clinical policies and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 40 standard weekly hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school or hold a current medical assistant certification.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Maintain a primary residence in Texas throughout employment.
• Maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• Family medicine or pediatric experience.
• National certification.
