About The Position

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) – Family Medicine to join our team of pediatric and adolescent medicine physicians who provide a comprehensive approach to childcare from birth through adolescence. The role involves providing quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, documenting chief complaint, medications, and allergies, and administering medications and treatments. The position also focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program Required or
• Licensure as an LPN or
• Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or
• Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or
• Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated or
• One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
• Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 Year Required or
• Licensure as an LPN Upon Hire Required
• If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Preferred
