About The Position

The Medical Assistant works in family medicine at the UW Health 2404 Charles St. Clinic. The position is 100% FTE, with eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday scheduled between 7:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited associate degree or medical assistant program, or have at least two years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or equivalent, or documentation of the highest completed degree, must be provided. Computer experience and current certification as an RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT are required; Basic Life Support/CPR certification is also required. An active medical assistant certification must be maintained. At least one year of professional clinic experience is preferred. Requirements

Graduated from an accredited associate degree program or medical assistant program, or have at least two years of relevant experience.
Provide a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent, or the highest level of completed degree obtained.
Computer experience.
RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification is required upon hire and must be maintained as active.
Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.
