About The Position

IMA Clinical Research is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in New York City for a temp-to-perm position. The role supports participants in active clinical studies by performing phlebotomy and laboratory processing, contributing to accurate, high-quality data collection. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends. The position offers the possibility of a permanent role after the temporary period.

The IMA Group describes its Clinical Research Division as conducting Phase II–IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas through a nationwide network of site locations and virtual capabilities.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certification is required.
• Current phlebotomy certification is required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following protocols.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Reliability, a team-oriented approach, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy for study subjects according to established protocols.
• Process laboratory work in accordance with study requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory information.
• Follow safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members.
