About The Position

IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in Albany, New York, to support participants in active clinical studies. This temp-to-perm role focuses on performing phlebotomy and processing laboratory samples in accordance with study protocols, contributing to accurate, high-quality clinical research data collection. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends. The position offers the possibility of a permanent role.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certification.
• Current phlebotomy certification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following protocols.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Reliability, teamwork, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy for study subjects according to established protocols.
• Process laboratory samples in accordance with study requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records.
• Follow safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members.
