About The Position

The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification. This role is part of Methodist Medical Group, the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System, a fast-growing network of providers including ambulatory clinics, an urgent care clinic, and a virtual care service. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice
