Virtual Interview Event - Medical Assistant & LPN positions - First Physicians Group (FPG) - May 14th & May 20th
About The Position
Welcome to First Physicians Group (FPG). We are scheduling virtual interviews on Thursday, May 14th and Wednesday, May 20th between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. We are hiring for Clinical Care Coordinator I (Medical Assistant) and Clinical Care Coordinator II (LPN) positions. Medical Assistant pay ranges from $20.00 - $28.20/hr, and LPN pay ranges from $24.50 - $36.50/hr. Pay rates are calculated based on years of MA or LPN work experience. Please apply to be considered. You will be contacted for screening and to schedule a virtual interview time on May 14th or 20th with a supervisor or manager from FPG. You will also be emailed a request to complete a clinical assessment online that is required for all applicants with FPG. Please complete this prior to your interview date/time. FPG has various provider offices located in Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice Areas. Opportunities are available in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, ENT (ear, nose and throat), Head & Neck Surgery, GI, OB/GYN, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Laryngology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, and Urology. Positions are available for both entry-level and experienced clinical staff, with opportunities for growth, learning, and advancement including lead and supervisor roles.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Requirements (Clinical Care Coordinator I): Requires current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA, NHA, NCCT OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by AMT, NRCMA, NAHP; OR a certified EMT.
- Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire. Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.
- LPN (Clinical Care Coordinator II): Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
- LPN License (FL) Mandatory
- High School Diploma, GED or Certificate - Required for Medical Assistant.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions).
- Acceptable BLS certifications are from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, ENT, Head & Neck Surgery, GI, OB/GYN, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Laryngology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, or Urology.
- Experience in lead or supervisor roles.
