Virtual Interview Event - Medical Assistant & LPN positions - First Physicians Group (FPG) - May 14th & May 20th
About The Position
First Physicians Group (FPG) is scheduling virtual interviews for Clinical Care Coordinator I (Medical Assistant) and Clinical Care Coordinator II (LPN) positions. Pay rates are based on years of experience. Medical Assistants can earn $20.00 - $28.20/hr, and LPNs can earn $24.50 - $36.50/hr. Applicants will be screened and scheduled for a virtual interview with a supervisor or manager. A clinical assessment is also required prior to the interview. FPG has various provider offices in Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Venice areas, covering specialties such as Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, ENT, GI, OB/GYN, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Laryngology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, and Urology. Opportunities are available for both entry-level and experienced clinical staff, with potential for growth into lead and supervisor roles.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Requirements (Clinical Care Coordinator I): Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA, NHA, or NCCT; OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by AMT, NRCMA, or NAHP; OR a certified EMT.
- Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire. Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.
- LPN (Clinical Care Coordinator II): Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
- LPN License (FL)
- High School Diploma, GED or Certificate - Required for Medical Assistant.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions).
- Acceptable BLS certifications are from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a Clinical Care Coordinator I (Medical Assistant) or Clinical Care Coordinator II (LPN).
- Participate in virtual interviews and complete online clinical assessments.
- Work in various provider offices across Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Venice areas.
