About The Position

The Medical Assistant provides collaborative support to Medical Providers, the Radiologic Technologist, and patients through patient care management, organization, and communication. The role performs limited-capacity x-rays for patients and reports results to Medical Providers. The Medical Assistant completes work accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner while supporting the company’s vision and mission of providing quality urgent care through an effortless patient experience, a culture of care, and integration with partners and communities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Social perceptiveness and service orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience performing x-rays preferred.
• One of the following certifications preferred in addition to LMRT: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA.

Responsibilities

• Support Medical Providers, the Radiologic Technologist, and patients.

• Perform limited-capacity x-rays for patients.
• Report x-ray results to Medical Providers.
• Complete activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
