About The Position
The Medical Assistant (MA) serves as an important liaison between the patient and family, the provider, and other care team members. The MA coordinates patient flow by assisting with clinical data collection and review during patient intake, ensuring the provider has appropriate information, and entering relevant history into the medical record. The MA also performs and assists with clinical procedures in accordance with divisional and departmental responsibilities, as directed by the provider and per protocol.
