About The Position

The Medical Assistant II works in the Bariatric department at Prime Healthcare Medical Group in Olympia Fields, Illinois. This full-time, daytime position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The role supports physicians with patient care and clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks; manages appointments and patient charts; and provides patients with information to help them use and benefit from clinic services. The Medical Assistant is expected to convey a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
• At least one year of work experience in a public-contact job.
• Current phlebotomy certification or competency.
