About The Position

The Medical Assistant I supports patient care in a dermatology practice by welcoming patients, preparing them for visits, answering care-related questions, and assisting providers with hands-on care. The role includes supporting procedures, recording detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, and helping ensure appointments run smoothly and completely. Medical Assistants also help keep the clinic operating efficiently by monitoring supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding exam-room flow, and staying organized. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program; applicants with extensive experience may be considered unless state law requires program completion.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction; the employer will not sponsor work visas.
