About The Position

This position performs a variety of patient care and administrative duties to ensure the efficient operations of the clinic. ICHS is a nationally recognized community health center providing medical, dental, and wellness care to individuals and families, including many who face significant barriers to care. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Interim Certification from Washington State DOH.
• If holding Medical Assistant Interim Certification, update it to Medical Assistant Certification before the interim certification expires.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience using an electronic health record (EHR).
• Bilingual English and an Asian language or Spanish.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If not current, certification is required within three months of hire; classes will be offered at ICHS.
