About The Position
Join TELUS Digital’s global AI Community and help improve AI-powered media search by evaluating search results based on user intent, relevance, and US cultural context. This is a flexible, independent contractor opportunity, not an employment relationship with TELUS Digital. Work is subject to project availability and quality standards, and payment is task-based, depending on task availability, productivity, and quality performance. Earnings may vary based on project requirements. The qualification process involves completing a contributor profile and submitting a brief background overview, completing secure identity verification, reviewing a study guide and evaluation guidelines, passing an open-book qualification assessment within the allotted time, and receiving a project assignment and access credentials. Requirements
- Active Apple ID and an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, or MacBook).
- Native or near-native English proficiency.
- Continuous US residency for at least the past 12 months.
- Strong knowledge of US entertainment, music, streaming platforms, and digital media culture.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Flexibility to handle different task types.
- Reliable computer and stable broadband internet.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or humanities discipline is preferred.
- Experience in data analysis, project management, media localization, content curation, or cultural research is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate media search results across music, streaming platforms, and apps for relevance and accuracy.
- Analyze search queries and validate metadata, including release dates, artist information, regional availability, and cultural context.
- Apply evaluation guidelines to assess results and resolve complex cases.
- Provide feedback to improve AI search algorithms and user experience.
