About The Position

Best Version Media is seeking a community-focused outside sales representative to build and operate a local magazine business as an Associate Publisher, with the opportunity to advance to Publisher when the magazine reaches its revenue baseline. The role involves meeting local business owners in person, helping them reach nearby households, and developing integrated advertising programs that combine magazine placements, digital ads, and online presence solutions.

This is a 100% commission, independent-contractor business with uncapped, cumulative income potential and no start-up costs. Associates receive bonus earnings while building their business. Publishers earn 70% commission on collected sales above baseline, with the opportunity to earn up to 80% through performance incentives. The advertised earning potential is $65,000+ in year one and $150,000+ in year two; top performers may exceed $1,000,000 in annual sales volume. The representative controls their schedule and receives structured training, daily live coaching, and support from local leadership.

Requirements

• Bring sales ability or motivation to develop it; prospecting, negotiating, and closing experience is helpful but not required.
• Have a genuine interest in building and nurturing local business relationships.
• Have personal transportation, a phone, a laptop, and reliable internet.
• Be prepared to make the role a primary professional focus during the business-building period.
