About The Position
Best Version Media is hiring a community-focused outside sales representative to build and run a local magazine business as an Associate Publisher, with the opportunity to graduate to Publisher once the magazine reaches its revenue baseline. The role involves meeting local business owners in person and developing integrated marketing programs that combine magazine placements, digital ads, and online presence services. The position is a 100% commission, independent-contractor business with uncapped earning potential, no start-up costs, and a schedule controlled by the representative. Associate Publishers receive bonus earnings while building their magazine; Publishers earn 70% commission on collected sales above baseline, with the possibility of earning up to 80% through performance incentives. The company provides structured training, daily live coaching, and local leadership support.
Requirements
- Sales ability or motivation to develop sales skills; prospecting, negotiating, and closing experience is helpful but not required.
- Own transportation, phone, laptop, and reliable internet.
- Genuine interest in building and nurturing local business relationships.
- Willingness to make the role a primary professional focus during the business-building phase.

Responsibilities
- Meet with local business owners to understand their marketing needs and help them become known to nearby households.
