About The Position

KAIT is seeking a high-level sales consultant to grow its local broadcast and digital revenue. The account executive identifies, qualifies, and acquires new prospects, connecting them with marketing solutions to help grow their businesses. The role focuses on acquiring high-quality clients with significant short- and long-term revenue potential and offers an opportunity for growth and success. The position is based at KAIT-TV, the ABC/NBC/CW affiliate in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of B2C or B2B outside consultative sales experience.
• Effective prospecting and proven revenue pipeline-building skills.
• Ability to think critically and design solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and unexpected change.
• Willingness to learn and openness to best practices and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ability to deliver results consistently through perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook when facing challenges.
• Comfort selling to executives and building trust-based, value-added relationships, particularly with Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Sales Officers, Sales Operations leaders, and Marketing VPs and Managers.

Responsibilities

• Research market opportunities, generate or follow up on warm and cold sales leads, and manage an active revenue pipeline.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and meet new-business revenue and budget goals.
• Provide marketing expertise, insights, recommendations, and consultancy to build productive, long-lasting client relationships.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline, increase pipeline velocity, and prepare accurate monthly forecasts.
• Design, write, and present marketing presentations.
• Meet or exceed sales expectations, goals, and budgets; manage a book of sales revenue for retention and growth.
• Manage a book of business using multiple CRM and client management tools and software.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with KAIT departments and support staff.
