About The Position

As a Med Tech (Med Aide) with Regency Park, you are responsible for administering medications and assisting residents in ways that support their individual treatment plans. The role requires identifying and communicating concerns with residents, their families, physicians, and staff to help ensure residents are thriving. You will contribute to customized service plans, document medication administration and outcomes, respond to family and physician concerns as directed, and work with the clinical team to address residents’ needs promptly. Regency Park provides assisted living and memory care. Employment offers are conditioned on passing a background check.

Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to resident care.
Previous experience working with elderly people, specifically those with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related conditions.
Reliable transportation and dependability in arriving on time.
Compassion and flexibility to perform various duties.
An ownership attitude and ability to stay focused despite interruptions.
Effective communication with staff, residents, and their families.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
One year of experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute information to the development and implementation of customized service plans.
Administer treatment plans and chart medications in the Medication Administration Record.
Document results of PRN medications and record missed medications.
Answer and respond to calls and concerns from family members and physicians as directed.
Support residents’ quality of life by maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Work with the clinical team to ensure residents’ needs are addressed in a timely manner.
