About The Position
Watermark Retirement Communities is hiring a Med Tech to provide safe delivery and administration of medications while developing meaningful relationships with residents. The role supports the community’s mission of helping residents thrive and is part of the care team, which Watermark calls “NAYAS”—guides, people of wisdom, and leaders. Candidates should be passionate about working with seniors and have experience in long-term care, home care, or a related field. Experience in assisted living and memory care is especially relevant. The position requires working some holidays and weekends.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Med Tech training program.
- Direct Caregiver Certification.
- High school diploma.
- At least six months of experience in long-term care, home care, or a related field; preferably as a Med Tech.
- Must love being around and working with seniors.
- Team-building ability.
- Assessment skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interest in learning and growing one’s skill set.
- Able to work some holidays and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a memory care environment.
- Experience as a Med Tech.
