About The Position
Brightview Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech/CMA to provide personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to senior residents. The role includes helping residents with activities of daily living, observing changes in residents’ day-to-day condition and personal care needs, and working with a nurse to update Resident Care Plans. The Med Tech/CMA also encourages residents to participate in community programs and activities. The listed pay range is USD $23.00–$26.50 per hour. Offers may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications, and training. The salary range does not include any applicable bonuses or incentives or the value of the benefits program.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Medication Aide in New Jersey or as a Technician in Maryland, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in residents’ day-to-day condition and personal care needs, and work with the nurse to update their Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage residents to participate in community programs and activities.
