About The Position
Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technician program.
- None required
- State of Florida technician license in microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and hematology.
Responsibilities
- Creates an optimal environment for the Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care.
- Serves as Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager.
- Assists in all aspects of implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information system.
- Provides the technology, supplies, policies and procedures for quality work.
- Serves as an interface with administration and clients.
- Assists the Section Head in assuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements set forth by TMH, TJC and CAP.
