About The Position
Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Graduation from a formal accredited surgical technician training program.
- Certified Surgical Tech Certification
Nice To Haves
- Two years surgical technician experience
- 2 years’ experience with Open Hearts
- Experience with CV procedures
Responsibilities
- Assists surgeon by passing sterile articles, retracting tissue, counting and handling of surgical specimens
- Remains alert to and safeguards against patient injury from electrical/mechanical hazards while guarding asepsis.
