We’re looking for a Mechanical Facilities Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization! In this role, you will work alongside our Senior Mechanical Engineers on a variety of industrial mechanical and process piping projects which involve the design of manufacturing facilities, compressible gas and liquid transfer facilities and industrial ventilation systems. Requirements

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must possess strong design interest in solid body mechanics, thermal fluid science, heat transfer and dynamics of rotating equipment
• Skills with Microsoft Office Suite of software tools
• Ability travel and work in the field as needed (may include overnight travel)

Responsibilities

• Determine material of construction requirements for piping and storage tank systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for fluid transfer systems.
• Perform basic mechanics of materials calculations for piping design
• Developing specifications for procurement of pumps, compressors, blowers, and industrial ventilation systems
