About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting active engineering projects while learning from experienced professionals. The intern will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and contribute to design calculations, project documentation, drawings, technical documents, research, and project deliverables. The role offers mentorship and exposure to engineering projects and industry-standard software, with opportunities to develop technical, analytical, communication, and computer-aided drafting skills. The primary marketplace includes Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, with additional project opportunities throughout the United States. The position is based in the Spokane, Washington office.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate engineering program.
• Completed at least two years of coursework toward an undergraduate engineering degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with computer-aided design and drafting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design calculations and project documentation.
• Support the development of design drawings, technical documents, and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
