About The Position

CDM Smith is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Summer 2027! You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. CDM Smith offers a full complement of mechanical engineering and support services to our clients. Our Mechanical services include: HVAC System Master Planning & Studies, HVAC & Plumbing Systems Design, Mechanical Systems Design (Co-Generation), and Sustainability/Energy Efficiency/Renewable Energy/Green Building Design.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.

Responsibilities

• CADD 2D/3D and Modeling Experience for Building HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection Systems design.
• Basic Mechanical Engineering calculations
• General office clerical duties
