Requirements
- Current Mechanical Engineering students who have completed at least two years toward a Bachelor of Science degree.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access) and AutoCAD is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take on engineering projects aimed at enhancing the reliability of our coal and gas plant fleet.
- Analyze plant equipment failure mechanisms and develop preventative maintenance strategies.
- Assist in testing coordination, data collection, report reviews, bid specification writing, and contractor bid evaluations.
- Support power plant improvement initiatives, including maintenance evaluations and cost-saving measures.
- Manage smaller-scale outage projects.
