About The Position

Jabil is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for its Summer 2027 Internship Program. The program offers interns opportunities to engage with Jabil leadership, participate in professional development, networking, social and community engagement events, work on committees with other interns, receive mentorship, and tour Jabil facilities.

The intern will support engineering project execution through CAD modeling, prototyping, 3D printing, component sourcing, hands-on engineering activities, and technical documentation. The position is based in St. Petersburg, Florida, and requires availability from May 17 to August 6, 2027.

Requirements

• Must be a Mechanical Engineering major.
• Must be available to work in St. Petersburg, Florida, from May 17 to August 6, 2027.
• Must be a rising senior or recent graduate.
• Must be a self-starter with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support CAD design updates and engineering documentation.
• Create and manage 3D-printed prototype parts.
• Support component sourcing, procurement, and tracking.
• Maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and project documentation.
• Assist with prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution.
