About The Position
Carrier is seeking a summer intern to join its Mechanical/Structures Center of Excellence Group in Syracuse, New York, for summer 2027. The position offers students the opportunity to develop professional and technical skills while working with experienced engineers in mechanical and structural design, testing, and evaluation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering field.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with engineering tools such as Excel, MATLAB, EES, Python, CAD, or similar software.
- Experience in design, dynamics, CAD, FEA, or hands-on project work.
Responsibilities
- Work with subject-matter experts in mechanical and structural design, mechanical testing, and vibration testing.
- Participate in hands-on testing and evaluations.
- Perform data analysis and engineering calculations.
- Document results and present project task outcomes.
