ASML•Wilton, CT
•Onsite

About The Position

ASML is seeking a Summer Intern in Mechanical Design Engineering to help develop portions of lithography systems and associated tooling. The intern will work on subsystems involving robotics, mechatronics, precision mechanics, and/or opto-mechanics. Work includes understanding functional requirements, deriving specifications, developing concepts, conducting engineering analyses, building and testing prototypes, producing CAD designs and engineering drawings, collaborating with suppliers, and supporting system integration and testing. The intern will work with design engineers and system architects as part of a multidisciplinary project team. The position is based on-site in Wilton, Connecticut, at a facility with research and development and manufacturing operations. The intern must be available for a 12-week session beginning either June 2, 2027, or June 14, 2027. On-site attendance is required for work-related events, training, meetings, teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. The role may involve work in cleanrooms or laboratories and may require travel of up to approximately 10%, depending on business needs.
