About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring for an Entry Level Mechanical Design Engineer in San Diego, CA. As an entry level Mechanical Design Engineer, you will: Create and maintain the Mechanical and Systems composite product design. Can cover one or more of composite disciplines; electrical, hydro-mechanical, controls manufacturing, software and display. This position is aimed at the maintenance of Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical product design.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree of Science in Engineering with a 2.8 minimum GPA
- 1 year or more of experience
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of drafting software programs, i.e. AutoCad or Cero
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work onsite every day
Nice To Haves
- Experience in working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience specifically with gas turbine control systems
- Knowledge of Oracle or other database tools
