About The Position

The Boeing Company is hiring Entry-Level and Associate Mechanical Design Engineers for Boeing Test & Evaluation’s Environmental Test Design Engineering team in Berkeley, Missouri. The role supports environmental testing for local Boeing Defense & Space programs, partnering with laboratory test teams to design and deliver test-ready hardware. The team supports testing in areas including vibration and structural dynamics, acoustics, airflow and fuel-flow systems, high-temperature flow impingement, and environmental control chambers that vary temperature, humidity, and pressure. Engineers design and modify test articles, fixtures, support structures, test rigs, and aircraft subsystems, including interfaces to facility infrastructure such as pressure, heating and cooling, power, hydraulics, and instrumentation. Work includes supporting fabrication, installation, connection, inspection, checkout, and acceptance of hardware. The position offers work on military aircraft and weapons programs such as T-7A, F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25, JDAM, and SDB, as well as Phantom Works proprietary efforts. The role is first shift and requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance and applicable program access. The position is not safety-sensitive and is not contingent on a program award.
