About The Position

Applies engineering physics, mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of aero-thermal and mechanical systems. The engineer may develop or contribute to solutions to complex and challenging problems, works independently with guidance, and actively contributes to an integrated design team. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in an engineering design role.
Experience creating and releasing engineering drawings.
Experience using structured hardware development processes.
Knowledge of 3D CAD design software.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience interpreting, creating, and using engineering drawings.
Experience conducting thermal or structural analysis.
Experience using ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC).
Experience conducting or interpreting aerothermal analysis.
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools.
Knowledge of systems engineering principles.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles.
Master's degree.
