About The Position

Re:Build Tekna is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to a diverse range of consulting, new product development, and production projects. The role involves developing engineering concepts and detailed designs that help ensure products are safe, effective, efficient, reliable, and profitable throughout their intended life and use. The engineer will work in a creative, collaborative group alongside design engineers, industrial designers, CAD specialists, quality and production engineers, project managers, and other team members. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
• 3–5 years of successful experience as a Design Engineer.
• Experience with SolidWorks and/or Creo.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure products are safe and effective for their intended use before release.
• Collaborate with new product development teams, including design engineers, industrial designers, CAD specialists, quality engineers, production engineers, and project managers.
• Provide engineering support to consulting, new product development, and production projects.
