About The Position

LayerZero Power Systems LLC. is hiring an on-site Mechanical Assembler in Streetsboro, Ohio. The role assembles fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and enclosures into power systems products. The assembler prepares, positions, assembles, and verifies parts, using mechanical and technical skills and attention to detail. The position is part of a team supporting products for critical industries, including data centers, financial services, computer service providers, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements

Experience assembling products in a manufacturing environment or transferable mechanical experience.
Ability to read assembly drawings and follow directions.
Ability to use hand tools and wire crimpers.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to the entire eight-hour shift.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working.
Ability to reach above and forward at least 18 inches.
Hand dexterity for installing small hardware and inspecting parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

Interpret 3D models to understand assembly processes and use basic computer tools such as email.
Use basic hand tools to assemble cabinet components, including subassemblies, frames, and main components.
Install flexibar and power cables as required by product design.
Understand torque drawings and apply them appropriately.
Inspect parts, materials, and assemblies to ensure they meet company quality standards.
Report quality issues to supervisors and leads.
Communicate and document information with supervision as required.
Adapt as work content evolves.
