The Mechanical Assembler I learns to set up, assemble, and load parts while using simple hand and machine tools and performing basic troubleshooting of machine setup and function. The role follows procedures, routing documents, work instructions, schematics, and technical drawings to produce parts that meet customer deadlines, quality standards, and safety requirements. The assembler identifies defects and escalates issues, participates in audits and continuous-improvement activities, and maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment. The position requires rotation among workstations as business needs change, completion of required training and recertification, and regular communication with a lead or supervisor about progress and quality issues. This is an onsite, first-shift role, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; overtime, including extended workdays and weekends, may be required. Employees must be able to stand for more than eight hours and comply with environmental, health, and safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
