Requirements
- Four years of journey level mechanical experience in the diagnosis and repair of automobiles, heavy trucks, or construction equipment; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C driver's license.
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania Inspection Mechanic Certification.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance, repairs, inspections, and overall operations for the hospital fleet
- Direct mowing, trimming, snow removal, and upkeep of roads, parking areas, trees, and shrubs
- Organize daily food and laundry transport according to established schedules
- Evaluate service and fuel contracts and track their usage and compliance
- Maintain detailed records of parts, tires, and equipment to meet agency requirements
- Assign work, guide employees, review work through on-site visits several times daily, and reinforce safety standards
