Requirements

  • One year as an Occupational Therapist Supervisor; or Two years of experience as a professional licensed occupational therapist; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure.
  • Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
  • Medical examination required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the full scope of Occupational Therapy Services and Certified Peer Specialist Services to ensure effective, compliant and consumer-centered programming.
  • Participate in creating policies and procedures that guide the delivery of Occupational Therapy Services.
  • Plan and direct therapeutic programs that match the cognitive, emotional and physical needs of consumers.
  • Supervise and support staff through coaching, evaluation and clear expectations.
  • Monitor departmental activities to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Coordinate with other clinical disciplines to improve consumer care and support rehabilitative goals.
  • Serve as an Administrative Abuse Investigator and manage essential reporting and compliance responsibilities.
