About The Position

Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. They guide customers toward healthy food and other wellbeing and household products that meet Earth Fare’s standards. The Meat & Seafood Clerk delivers customer service and product knowledge in the department, prepares specialty merchandise, and maintains department presentation and organization.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in knife handling, use of other cutting equipment, and safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide product knowledge within the department.
• Prepare specialty merchandise, such as sausage, ready-to-cook products, and cured meats.
• Keep the Meat and Seafood Department stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised, including ensuring items have proper signage and pricing.
