About The Position
Market of Choice in South Eugene is hiring a Meat Cutter. The starting wage is $17 to $20 per hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $24 per hour. Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Open availability, including evenings and weekends, is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cutting experience is preferred, but all applications will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selections and recommendations.
- Cut and trim varieties of meat, fish, and poultry to specification.
- Prepare ready-to-heat foods by filleting meat or fish or cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
- Prepare and add vegetables or apply sauces or breading.
- Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat.
- Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display cases in an attractive and eye-catching way.
- Maintain health and safety sanitation requirements.
