Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Takes initiative and completes work with speed and accuracy.
• Able to tailor messaging to meet the needs of diverse customers and team members.
• Able to reach, bend, balance, lift, and carry items weighing 20–50 pounds regularly; items over 50 pounds require a coordinated team lift.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, and twist for extended periods.
• Able to push and pull carts and equipment.
• Able to work with exposure to cold, heat, and cleaning chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Prior retail or grocery experience.
• Cash handling or POS experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register accurately and follow checkout and cash-handling procedures for cash, credit/debit, EBT, WIC, gift cards, coupons, and checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer complaints and feedback effectively.
• Report to scheduled shifts on time and prepared to work.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in grocery, frozen, dairy, meat, and produce departments.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks and organizing product.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized store conditions, including the sales floor, restrooms, backroom, displays, and parking lot.
• Retrieve shopping carts and maintain entrance areas.
• Ensure product signage, pricing, and displays meet standards.
• Support other departments and complete additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to the uniform dress code.
