About The Position

The Meat and Seafood Team Member helps The Fresh Market deliver an extraordinary everyday eating experience by providing excellent guest service and supporting work across store departments. Team members may work in Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, or Front-End. The role includes helping guests find products and create meal solutions, maintaining product and weekly-ad knowledge, stocking and merchandising, gathering shopping carts, and completing general housekeeping duties. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

A passion for providing extraordinary service.
At least 16 years of age.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent guest service and engage with guests to understand their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
Work across departments to assist guests.
Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day.
Assist nearby guests while merchandising and stocking.
Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
Present professionally, including adhering to uniform standards.
