About The Position

Springwell is hiring a part-time Meals on Wheels Driver to deliver nutritious meals and provide daily wellness checks to vulnerable older adults experiencing hunger and isolation. The role balances time driving alone in the employee’s own car with opportunities to connect with seniors. Routes are available in Framingham. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The position pays $18.00 per hour and includes mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

• Reliable car.
• Current driver's license.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Enjoy working with older adults.
• Comfortable with or have working knowledge of computer applications such as email and data entry.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience with technology such as an iPad or iPhone.
• Some experience with older adults.
• Knowledge of the geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutritious meals to older adults.
