About The Position

The ME Technician is responsible for maximizing uptimes on all secondary equipment, ensuring safety features are functioning properly, and performing characterization on specific products. This role also involves responding to quality and operator issues, maintaining a clean work environment, identifying and resolving maintenance concerns, and assisting in training new technicians and production operators. The technician will also perform other duties as required by the Lead ME.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.
• 3-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting injection molding.
• Revere Plastics Systems Orientation
• Forklift Training
• Injection Molding Class
• Lock Out/Tag Out Training
• SPC Training
• Sexual Harassment
• Understanding of Gemba Board Data
• Must possess a valid forklift license.
• Must have good attendance habits that exceed current policy.
• Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuing education.
• Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Maximize uptimes on all secondary equipment with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime.
• Ensure all safety features are functioning properly.
• Perform characterization on specific product, as identified and developed.
• Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and manufacturing methods.
• Maintain a neat and clean environment at all times.
• Identify maintenance concerns and issues and work to assist with resolution.
• Assist in training new Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, and production operators when required.
• Perform other duties, as required by the Lead ME.
