The Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports manufacturing operations across the Anderson facilities by driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams, this role identifies and implements process improvements that support operational and business objectives. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports the implementation and sustainment of manufacturing processes, conducts process analysis and time studies, develops and maintains standard work and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and leads Lean Manufacturing initiatives. The role provides technical engineering support through CAD modifications, equipment and tool specifications, process documentation, and quality improvement activities, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. This position manages small projects, designs and implements carts, racks, fixtures, and other manufacturing aids that improve workflow, ergonomics, safety, and productivity, and serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives. The role may provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and other team members. Reporting to the Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Supervisors, the Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician serves as a technical resource and collaborative partner in fostering a safe, efficient, and continuously improving manufacturing environment.
