MDS Nurse- Registered Nurse- Sign On Bonus!
About The Position
Peak Resources is seeking a full-time MDS Nurse, RN, to join its team at Peak Resources Charlotte, a skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living facility located near Uptown Charlotte. The position coordinates and facilitates the timely and accurate completion of the RAI and Care Management process from admission through discharge, in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines, and other applicable requirements. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role requires a current, unencumbered, active North Carolina RN license; knowledge and experience with the RAI process; proficient computer skills; and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The full-time MDS Nurse must become RAC certified and maintain recertification every two years. Peak Resources offers a sign-on bonus to eligible newly hired full-time employees who successfully complete their 90-day introductory period; terms and conditions apply.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in North Carolina.
- Knowledge and experience of the RAI process.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
- Become RAC certified and maintain recertification every two years.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of nursing experience in a hospital or nursing facility.
- One to two years of MDS experience.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid processes.
Responsibilities
