About The Position

Recovery Centers of America at Westminster is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to provide nursing care and support patients beginning their recovery journey. The role contributes to patient safety, stability, and recovery by supporting treatment plans and implementing effective clinical practices. The nurse works alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, on the day shift from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $43.25 to $49.75 per hour, based on experience. The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years. Recovery Centers of America provides evidence-based inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment. Requirements

Current RN license in Massachusetts, or the ability to obtain one.
Ability to read and interpret written information and write clearly and informatively, including editing work for spelling and grammar.
Ability to speak clearly and persuasively, listen and seek clarification, respond well to questions, demonstrate group presentation skills, and participate in meetings.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Thorough knowledge of facility proprietary systems.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in behavioral health or addiction.

Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments by interviewing patients and relatives to gather case histories.
Plan and provide nursing care for patients.
Make nursing diagnoses of patients’ medical status and recommend treatment options.
Consult with medical and behavioral healthcare staff to design appropriate treatment plans.
Administer psychotropic drugs and other medications, and note patient reactions.
Arrange further medical attention when necessary.
