About The Position

Avalon Care Center Federal Way is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator who is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role oversees Medicare and Managed Care residents and the services provided during their inpatient stays, from admission through discharge. It is also responsible for accurate, timely completion of all OBRA-required assessments. The position is described as a key financial and clinical member of the management team and is not subject to nursing call schedules. This is a full-time position with a stated pay range of $50.00–$55.00 per hour. Requirements

Hold a current, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
Be well-versed in interpersonal communications.
Be familiar with the RAI process and case management.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Meet applicable local health regulations and pass a post-employment physical exam if required; this includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
Have experience as an MDS Coordinator; the posting seeks an experienced candidate.
