GenMD is a Stanford spin-off building AI and data infrastructure for healthcare. The company works with health systems and data partners to make large longitudinal datasets—including claims, health records, imaging, and clinical notes—usable for researchers and frontier AI while protecting patient privacy. GenMD is coming out of stealth, is revenue-generating and well funded, and is intentionally small and fast-moving. The MBA Intern will work directly with GenMD’s founders on commercial strategy, including partnerships with health systems and data providers, access offerings for researchers and AI teams, and growth of Healthcare Datahub. The role offers ownership of practical deliverables. Work may focus on one of three audiences: health systems and data providers, academic researchers, or frontier AI teams. The position is part-time during the academic term or full-time over the summer, with a flexible start date. Compensation is $40–$55 per hour.
